Jane Keltner De Valle, fashion news director of teen vogue, looks stunning in her feminine yellow skirt and blazer with a plush fur collar.  I adore the way she makes a super feminine skirt less girly by adding killer booties and a statement jacket.  Gap offers a great alternative with their classic yellow pleated skirt.  Take a cue from Jane, and add some funky accents to your outfit to take your outfit from girly girl to tres chic.

I remember seeing this Phillip Lim pleated dress with sequin details on his Spring 2010 runway and falling head over heels in love.  I love the pleats and the way the dress moves, and I am always a sucker for sequins.  Even after few seasons have past, my obsession with this style has not faded.  I ran across this affordable skirt option on modcloth.com, and I find this skirt both adorable and extremely wearable.  I love the paper bag waist and I have been feeling for pleated skirts for the Holiday season.  It would be great with a silk blouse, tights, and a killer pair of booties and maybe even a great leather jacket to keep you warm during the colder months...

I am obsessed with this woman's outfit. She manages to wear leather pants, stripes, a chunky knit, and tortoise shell glasses and look completely polished and refined. I think my favorite part of her outfit are her fantastic sunglasses and her Alexander Wang pebbled leather clutch with exposed gold zippers. She inspires me to take more risks and mix textures and patterns within one outfit!

As the weather starts to cool down, one of my new favorite trends is the shearling moto jacket.  Ever since the Fall 2010 Burberry Prorsum show, it seems that everyone has been gaga for these moto inspired outerwear pieces with pops of shearling details.  My personal favorites are the ones with exaggerated shearling details on the collar.  Style them with your favorite denim or with your favorite skirt and tights, and you are ready for anything. You don't have to break your wallet to participate; They have great faux options at Forever21 and Zara.

My personal choice would be the Adam leather moto jacket.  From the amazing carmel leather color to the exaggerated collar, this jacket is just perfection.

Now all I need is the perfect pair of boots and hot cocoa and I am ready for the winter.
