It is no surprise that my favorite designer, Phillip Lim, also makes one of the most adorable kids lines I have ever seen. When I came across his Fall 2010 kids line, I simply fell in love. I would wear every single outfit that these girls are wearing if they came in my size. A feminine dress with a military inspired coat, a leather skirt with a chunky knit, and a lace skirt mixed with a stripe top and a ruffle blouse... All outfits that I have been dying to create myself!

 Wren Clothing speaks for itself! I want everything in the Fall/Holiday line and I adore the way they styled the looks for their look book. Both of these looks are outfits that I would wear. Sequins and Leopard... O My!

Jane Keltner De Valle, fashion news director of teen vogue, looks stunning in her feminine yellow skirt and blazer with a plush fur collar.  I adore the way she makes a super feminine skirt less girly by adding killer booties and a statement jacket.  Gap offers a great alternative with their classic yellow pleated skirt.  Take a cue from Jane, and add some funky accents to your outfit to take your outfit from girly girl to tres chic.

I remember seeing this Phillip Lim pleated dress with sequin details on his Spring 2010 runway and falling head over heels in love.  I love the pleats and the way the dress moves, and I am always a sucker for sequins.  Even after few seasons have past, my obsession with this style has not faded.  I ran across this affordable skirt option on modcloth.com, and I find this skirt both adorable and extremely wearable.  I love the paper bag waist and I have been feeling for pleated skirts for the Holiday season.  It would be great with a silk blouse, tights, and a killer pair of booties and maybe even a great leather jacket to keep you warm during the colder months...

I am obsessed with this woman's outfit. She manages to wear leather pants, stripes, a chunky knit, and tortoise shell glasses and look completely polished and refined. I think my favorite part of her outfit are her fantastic sunglasses and her Alexander Wang pebbled leather clutch with exposed gold zippers. She inspires me to take more risks and mix textures and patterns within one outfit!

As the weather starts to cool down, one of my new favorite trends is the shearling moto jacket.  Ever since the Fall 2010 Burberry Prorsum show, it seems that everyone has been gaga for these moto inspired outerwear pieces with pops of shearling details.  My personal favorites are the ones with exaggerated shearling details on the collar.  Style them with your favorite denim or with your favorite skirt and tights, and you are ready for anything. You don't have to break your wallet to participate; They have great faux options at Forever21 and Zara.

My personal choice would be the Adam leather moto jacket.  From the amazing carmel leather color to the exaggerated collar, this jacket is just perfection.

Now all I need is the perfect pair of boots and hot cocoa and I am ready for the winter.

I love this picture of Olivia with her shoulder embellished cardigan, leather shorts, and sky high Charlotte Olympia oxford  heels. The best part is that she is climbing onto her bike. Talk about effortlessly chic!

I was pining for something with the embellishment on the shoulder and this image inspired me to buy this great blazer. It adds a little spice to the perfect and classic black blazer!

Now I just have to find those leather shorts....

Mini and Maxi Dresses for Fall

I love the way both of these woman rock completely different length dresses and both look fantastic!
The girl on the left is so chic layering her woven top under her adorable gray dress and I adore the pocket placement and the great booties.
I am on the never ending search for the perfect maxi dress ( I am only 5'1").  I love how blogger Hanneli Mustaparta makes her maxi dress look perfect for fall by layering it with the perfect black blazer.

I love Alexander Wang's Duffel bags. I adore his original studded version but I am also loving his new minimal, modern Daria duffel. The leather quality is beautiful and the shape is practical and chic! What is your favorite?

If you like the shape but don't want to invest, the duffel shapes they have at Zara with the great chain detail are a great replacement!
