I have been very MIA recently because I got engaged and got a puppy!! I have been knee deep in wedding magazines and wee wee pads, and needless to say, I missed clothing and fashion and blogging! So I am back in action and just in time to catch the tale end of New York Fashion Week. I have to say that my initial reaction to fashion week is that I am so excited for Fall! Fur, Sheer Maxi skirts, and loads of prints.... OBSESSED.

The Quest for the Perfect Leopard Heel/Platform/Wedge?

I am truly regretting my chance during Fall and Holiday to find the perfect Leopard heel. I am still head over heels in love with leopard and any animal prints, and so my search continues on. My favorite of the bunch has to be the Miu Miu leopard platform sandal and Alexander Wang's mix of leopard wedges. 

please let me know if you find any other shoes that I can find now to fulfill my leopard dreamsssss!

 

Proenza Schouler PS 11 Bag

I have always been a huge fan of all of Proenza Schouler's bags and their PS11 is no exception. It is structured and classic but yet funky and chic with its amazing studded hardware. I am so in love with it... I think I might need to make it mine!

I am in love with Chiara from the blonde salad  fashion blog. She has the most amazing shoe and handbag collection, and I adore the way she puts every single outfit together. It doesn't hurt that she is tall, blonde and beautiful and makes all of her clothes look amazing! As a future dog owner myself, I even appreciate her outfitting skills with her adorable french bulldog. I look at her blog every morning to get inspiration for my own wardrobe. She is fantastic!

My dear friend Blaire brought this amazing image to my attention from the Free People Spring 2011 Lookbook that was entirely shot in paris. I absolutely love this look, and as many of you know, I am a huge fan of mixing prints! I love the checks with the floral skort, and if you look closer you see that she is even carrying a leopard handbag! So Chic! I never thought I would fancy a skort, but this picture might be changing my mind.

I only wish it wasn't freezing outside and I could attempt to wear the whole outfit!

The love affair continues..

Phillip Lim. I love him and I love everything he designs. Every season, there are a few pieces of his that go on my MUST HAVE list and this Spring this leather jacket is my new obsession. I adore the motorcyle shape and the mix of textures and print.

A Week's Full of Outfit Inspiration

Harper's Bazaar's senior fashion market editor, Joanna Hillman, is chronicling thirty days of outfits for the month of December -- I am absolutely hooked!  Here are seven of my favorite looks from the month. She does an incredible job at layering in the cold New York winter while still managing to look fantastic.  Joanna incorporates all of my favorite trends: leopard, wedge booties, mixing print, and fur.  She has the most fantastic wardrobe!  My favorite items have to be her khaki pleat front pants, her loeffler randall booties, her leopard Mulberry Alexa bag, and of course her leopard Zara coat pictured in the last photo.  After viewing her outfits for the month, it is amazing how she mixes high and low, wearing shoes from Aldo with Proenza Schouler and Marc Jacobs clothes. She makes everything look like a million bucks!
